GOOD TO KNOW

Your Questions, Answered

Planning your journey should feel exciting. Here are a few answers to help you get started.

See All FAQs
When is the best time to visit Tanzania?

Tanzania is a year-round destination. The dry season from June to October offers the best wildlife viewing and Kilimanjaro conditions, while January to March is ideal for calving season in the southern Serengeti. Zanzibar's beaches are at their best from June to October and from December to February.

How fit do I need to be to climb Kilimanjaro?

Kilimanjaro is a non-technical trek, so no climbing experience is needed, but good general fitness and proper preparation matter. We share a training guide and help you choose the route and number of days that give you the best chance of reaching the summit.

Can I combine a safari with Kilimanjaro or Zanzibar?

Absolutely. Safari-and-beach and climb-and-safari combinations are popular, and we handle all transfers and logistics for you.

What is included in your safari prices?

Itineraries typically include accommodation, park fees, a private vehicle with an expert guide, meals as specified and airport transfers. Each itinerary page lists exactly what is included and excluded.
